Bumpers or iron
Bumper plates are rubber and are made to be dropped from overhead onto a platform or thick flooring. Iron plates are thinner, so more of them fit on a sleeve, and the grip handles make them easier to carry. Iron is not made for dropping.
Every plate here has a 2 inch bore for Olympic bars unless the page says 1 inch standard. Larger sets usually cost less per pound than pairs. Pairs and singles are for filling the gaps once you know which jumps you need.
