Which bar
An Olympic bar has 2 inch sleeves and fits the plates most people own. A 7 ft bar fits a standard rack, and a 6 ft bar fits a narrow one. Standard 1 inch bars take the older plates with small holes and are rated lower.
The EZ curl bar is for curls and triceps on the floor or a bench and is too short to sit in a rack. Weighted bars have a fixed weight and take no plates.
